Using memory specified in mknmzrc

Is anyone having the problem of getting Namazu to use the amount of memory
specified in the "mknmzrc" configuration file. I have 4G of memory on my
UNIX system and I'm telling Namazu to use 2G of that memory to do the
indexing but it's only using about 24-200M. Starts out at about 300M then
drops to 24M. Any help is greatly appreciated.
